Shout out to Gobi for giving me the heads-up on this highly amusing, tongue-in-cheek blog on stuff white people like. “White” in this sense is not be confused with “redneck” white, but rather (as Gobi pointed out) with “yuppie” whiteness.

Wowza, three weeks since I’ve payed any attention to my poor, neglected blog. Which, coincidentally (in the truest sense of the word) is the exact same length of time that I’ve been in Houston. I was hoping to get everything set up here and into a “normal” routine right away, but that hasn’t really been the case.

Anyhow, this isn’t a “return to my normal blogging routine” post, but a pre-post to that, a forewarning if you will, a waypoint on that journey.

Go out into the world

After a Christmas week break from blogging, I suppose I was too lazy to actually think of something to write, so instead I just messed around in paintshop for an little bit and made another banner – one more fitting for the upcoming arrival of a new year.

First post!

Well, after a yearlong hiatus from blogging, I’ve decided to dust off the ol’ keyboard and get back to it.

This iteration I’ve gone for using Wordpress and my own domain name instead of restarting my Blogger. I liked using Blogger, and it was free, but I’m really enjoying the freedom of having Wordpress on my own site – messing with the code, changing around the options. The limiting factor is no longer “what does my blogware allow me to do?”, but “what can I do to my blogware?” Besides, having “my own site” (for real) was long overdue.
