The Horrible solo was all about how he gets ripped off by this fake guy and is pissed at everyone. He just wants to make a mark and 'win'. I think it fits his character. It wasn't quite as funny as #2 but its pretty good, and as I've seen over and over again with comedies, when you wrap up a story its a lot harder to be funny (see Sandler movies, Ferrell movies, specifically Elf) I love how when he unfreezes he finishes the high note… after like 15 seconds.
