After a Christmas week break from blogging, I suppose I was too lazy to actually think of something to write, so instead I just messed around in paintshop for an little bit and made another banner – one more fitting for the upcoming arrival of a new year.

Six and oh-yeah-we-rock

You can’t touch a flame when it’s red hot!

Flames go a perfect 6-0 on their road trip, closing out with a solid 3-1 win over the Bluejackets.

I have relatively few specific Christmas “traditions”, with most patterns of annual yuletide activity being more general (i.e. “be with my family”) as opposed to precise. However, one of my favourite festive moments is picking out a gift for Child’s Play, the Penny Arcade inspired gamers charity that annually donates massive amounts of videogames (and other gifts) to various children’s hospitals around the world via Amazon.

Burned!

Wow, I’m pretty surprised at tonight’s *15* goal result between Calgary and Tampa, but definitely impressed that the Flames were able to light it up on their first trip back to the accursed TB.
