Time definitely doesn’t heal all wounds. Some scars never really go away.

Fond-yet-bittersweet memories are like the cranial equivalent of that photo album you keep in a storage box under the bed, mixed in with half-forgotten yearbooks and that Valentine from fourth grade, the one you still can’t bring yourself to toss out.

DQDJ – Preface

Heh, so tonight I had this “great” idea for a new episodic blog section – DQDJ, or “Don’t Quit your Day Job”.

The statement applies to myself. In each post, I’ll cover another profession, different than my own, and why I sometimes have delusions that maybe I *could* do that job, but also why in the end they’re still primarily delusions.

Pre Grey Cup post

So this afternoon is the CFL’s biggest dance, and this year (for the first time), it’s an all-prairie hoedown. As the Bombers and Riders get set to square off for the chance to raise the Grey Cup in triumph, here are my thoughts about the upcoming game.

Turkeyball trio

Today saw three big (American) Thanksgiving NFL games, with the three best teams-not-from-New-England all winning, thus making the “who could best the Patriots?” guessing game all the more interesting.
